The Office of Institutional Knowledge Management (IKM) oversees the College of Medicine's institutional data administration. The purpose of IKM is to increase access to available, accurate, and timely information. To maintain this standard, we promote efficiency, collaboration, and transparency by providing readily accessible information to faculty and staff.
IKM follows a quality improvement approach comprising a multipart sequence and cycle. Once data is collected, the office stores and disseminates information as needed, then reviews, analyzes, and makes recommendations for improvement. In the next cycle, the collection and review process continues. IKM's approach is intended to achieve the College of Medicine's institutional goals through continuous quality improvement.
