Human Resources

The Human Resources (HR) team supports employees across all HR functions in partnership with the University’s Division of HR. The team assists in the following areas:

  • Full-cycle recruitment for faculty, staff, administrative, and temporary roles. This includes developing position profiles, managing search and screening, posting and advertising jobs, and completing compensation reviews for selected candidates.
  • Onboarding support for new employees. This includes completing pre-employment requirements, enrolling them in required trainings, and providing ongoing guidance for both new hires and their supervisors.
  • Faculty affairs management. This covers initial appointments, renewals, voluntary faculty processes, Appointment, Tenure and Promotion Committee meetings, LCME reporting, salary surveys, and related administrative tasks.
  • Training and professional development. This includes tracking compliance trainings, creating training materials, identifying learning resources, and partnering with external organizations to offer development opportunities.
  • Recognition programs and events designed to strengthen employee engagement and retention.
  • Support for employee and labor relations issues in collaboration with the University’s Employee and Labor Relations team.
