We offer a Doctor of Medicine degree, a Ph.D. in Biomedical Science, a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies, a Graduate Certificate in Molecular and Biomedical Sciences, and an International Visiting Medical Student Program.

The 2024 Blue Ridge Institute for Medical Research ranks the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine #107 in the nation in National Institutes of Health funding and #39 in anatomy and cell biology research funding. Among public universities, we hold the #69 spot nationwide.

Students that meet certain conditions after completing the Graduate Certificate in Molecular and Biomedical Sciences are guaranteed admission or an interview for our M.D. program.
