Alumni Network

The Medical Alumni Network aims to provide networking opportunities, professional development events, and volunteer opportunities to build a culture of Panther Pride and maintain a mutually beneficial relationships between HWCOM and its medical alumni. The mission of the Alumni Relations unit is to foster the network of medical alumni, current students, faculty and staff to maintain lifelong connections to the university and each other.

We are always interested in hearing about our alumni’s news and accomplishments, both personal and professional. If you have any news that you wish to share, please email us at medalumni@fiu.edu.

Benefits

Membership in the Medical Alumni Network is free, and all HWCOM alumni are encouraged to join. Membership allows alumni opportunities to share successes and achievements and to stay up to date with events and growth at the college of medicine.

Other benefits to joining the Medical Alumni Network include leadership opportunities, invitations to special events, and networking and mentorship opportunities.

Members of the FIU Alumni Association also enjoy discounts for many vendors, including restaurants, car rental services and hotels, and theme parks.

Alumni Across the Country

Medical Alumni Relations, a unit within the Office of Student Affairs, created an interactive map of all HWCOM alumni nationwide and will be constantly updated. You can search by name, specialty, residency program, or location. This map was created with the intent to assist students, especially M4s, with locating their fellow alumni easily. To maintain alumni privacy, their contact information will not be published. However, over 70 have already agreed to share their contact information with current and future M4 students.
