Speakers
Please see the following details pertaining to your presentation. You may need to refer to your proposal acceptance email (sent in late January) to verify the session type/format.
Planning your presentation
- Review your session format and timing details in our Presentation Guidelines.
- You should have received an email from Sched with the subject line, “You’ve been added to the list of Speakers…”
- You may update your session description and list of presenters via the app, if need be.
- You may upload your presentation materials to the app for attendees to access, though it is not required.
- Take advantage of AAMC's Speaker Resources for presentation planning and delivery.
Important notes for all presentations
- All presentation slides must be saved to your own thumb drive, which you will bring and connect to the venue's laptop just before your presentation.
- For accessibility purposes, please include a QR code in the deck for participants to access your presentation from their mobile device.
- All presenters are responsible for providing their own handouts and interactive materials for their sessions. On-site printing will not be available.
Day of your presentation
Arrive in your session room 10 minutes early to get settled, launch your presentation, prepare handouts, and meet your session facilitator (if applicable—facilitators are only assigned for oral presentation sessions).
Late registration
If you have not already registered for the conference, you should have received an email yesterday requesting immediate action.
Please be sure to address that email as soon as possible. As a reminder, the AAMC does not offer any waivers or discounts for conference presenters.
Posters

Poster set-up time: 4:30 p.m.
Poster Session Start Time: 5:30 – 7:00 p.m.
Location: Marriott Dadeland, Grand Ballroom
Pushpins will be provided onsite for your convenience.
Please select here to find your assigned poster board number. As a reminder, each poster is limited to one (1) presenter as stated in your poster acceptance email. So, although there may be multiple presenters listed in Cadmium you are the only person receiving this message (you were listed as Presenter 1).
Please see the following details pertaining to your poster presentation:
- You may provide attendees with a digital copy of your poster, though it is not required.
- Poster PDFs can be uploaded via the AAMC SharePoint.
- Poster PDFs will be available to all attendees through the AAMC Attendee Access SharePoint.
- All poster dimensions: 3 feet wide by 4 feet tall (vertical)
- Please view our poster example for an image of the required dimensions.
- For accessibility purposes, please include a QR code on your poster for participants to access from their mobile device.
- Presenters are responsible for transporting /shipping their poster to the conference and setting it up at the assigned board.
- Take-down time: Please ensure to remove your poster at the conclusion of the session. Any posters left behind will be disposed of.
- You may set up your poster starting at 4:30 pm on the 28th (one hour before the reception begins).
- All poster presenters must register for the conference.
