Taking part in the DOT Program at the HWCOM last summer was one of the best academic decisions I have made. This intensive program taught me so much regarding the field of medicine and the application process to medical school. We were given immense opportunities such as: mock medical school interviews, clinical skills including intubation, learning about professionalism and ethics from medical school faculty and so much more. I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to participate in the DOT Program and I hope to attend FIU HWCOM in the future.Fernando Alvarez
