Carlos Torres-Viera, M.D., is a board-certified infectious disease specialist who plays an active role in the clinical education of third-year medical students rotating in the internal medicine clerkship. He contributes to the development of the infectious disease curriculum and is a mentor to students interested in internal medicine. He has an active medical practice as part of the South Florida Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine Center and works at Baptist Health South Florida affiliated hospitals.
