Sheldon M. Frank, M.D., teaches part-time teaching at HWCOM and the University of Miami. He also does clinical work in various hospital, office, and school settings. 

Prior to FIU, Dr. Frank worked in New York where he taught residents and medical students, was active in local and national professional organizations, and pursued research. His investigations concerned asthma, autism, child language development in different cultural and clinical settings, schizophrenia, and neuropsychiatry (psychotropic side effects, Tourette Disorder).
