Vanessa Maria Granados
Vanessa Granados joined Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine (FIU HWCOM) in August 2015. She serves as the Period 3 Program Coordinator for the Clerkship faculty, administrators, and students of the HWCOM and the Department of Pediatrics. Among her responsibilities, she assists the Chair of Pediatrics in the day-to-day clinical and administrative activities at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital.
Before joining FIU, Grandados worked at Miami Dade College for over 7 years as a Curriculum assistant, where she collaborated closely with the Curriculum director, faculty, and other curriculum development team members to prepare and develop course and program curricula for the School of Engineering and Technology. Mrs. Granados is an alumna of FIU, she received her B.S. in Psychology. She continued her education at Barry University where she earned her Master’s degree in Counseling with specializations in Mental Health Counseling and Couples, Marriage, and Family therapy. She plans to pursue a terminal degree in Higher Education.
