Nancy joined the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine in July 2012. Nancy is the Assessment and Testing Coordinator for the College of Medicine. She is currently involved in the coordination and analysis of the technical components of assessment, data collection instruments, evaluation tools and quantitative and qualitative data analysis. In this role, Nancy interprets and implements complex assessment policies and protocol. She prepares logistical paperwork for the administration of exams and serves as a proctor. Maintaining the security and integrity of all assessment and test materials is her priority. She assists faculty and course directors with support for testing and assessment issues in order to meet and enhance learning objectives and outcomes.

Nancy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences from Florida International University. Prior to joining the College of Medicine, Nancy worked as an Examiner in Miami Dade College Testing Center. She brings more than five years of experience working in Academia. Nancy will be pursuing a Master’s degree of Public Health at Florida International University. She also enjoys giving back to the community and has been part of such organizations like; American Cancer Society, Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, The United Nations Children’s Fund and Miami Children’s Hospital.
