Raisa Miller, DMSc, MPH, PA-C, is the program director for MPAS. She joined the program in 2016 serving as clinical director and assistant professor. Miller is a certified physician assistant with 20 years of experience in clinical practice and academic matters, including student support, mentorship, and curriculum development.

Miller also has expertise in clinical trial design and implementation. She was a sub-investigator for multiple clinical trials at Gastro Health/Miami Research Associates. She also served as Senior Clinical Science Liaison for Genentech Pharmaceuticals and as a liver diseases specialist on the National Speakers Bureau.

Miller is a provider at the FIU Health Faculty Group Practice on the MMC campus and participates in the college of medicine’s Green Family Foundation NeighborhoodHELP to bring access to health services and health education to South Florida’s most vulnerable communities.
