Shandi Brito, MHSA, MMS, PA-C, is a family medicine certified physician assistant with over five years of experience in primary care. Brito works with the Green Family Foundation Neighborhood Health Education Learning Program (NeighborhoodHELP), the college’s signature service-learning program. NeighborhoodHELP focuses on addressing the social determinants of health to improve health outcomes. As part of her role in the program, Brito oversees medical, physician assistant, and social work students during their visits to underserved households in Miami-Dade County.
