Dr. Robert L. Levine, Professor of Emergency Medicine and Critical Care, received his medical degree from the State University of New York Upstate Medical School. Levine did residencies in Emergency Medicine at Emory University, Internal Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and a Critical Care Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. His research fellowship in cardiac arrest and resuscitation was with Dr. Peter Safar at the International Resuscitation Center, also at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
