Frances Howard, MD is an adult psychiatrist and is board eligible in General Psychiatry.  Dr. Howard has experience working with people with severe mental illness and mood disorders.  She has worked with a culturally diverse population in an inpatient and outpatient setting. In addition, one of her interest has been the treatment of a variety of psychopathologies on youth during the transitional age. Dr. Howard earned a Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico and then completed his medical degree at the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in Mexico. She completed her residency training, in General Psychiatry, at Citrus Health Network, Inc. Dr. Howard provides psychiatric services at FIU’s Student Health Center treating a wide variety of psychiatric conditions.  In addition, she supervises and teaches third year medical and physician assistant students.
