Overview

The FIU Department of Radiology is based at Jackson North Medical Center, an integral part of the Jackson Health System and the primary clinical training site for the FIU College of Medicine. The hospital contains the full range of imaging equipment including 64-slice CT and 3T MRI 3D Ultrasound and Interventional Radiology. In addition it is a fully digital department with a PACS system and with voice-activated dictation system.

Vision: To be recognized as a premier provider of imaging services to the community, an invaluable component of the education of medical students and other healthcare staff and as a site for leading-edge imaging research.
