- Biography
As Assistant to the Dean, Kellen Blassingame, is responsible for coordinating the maintenance of college vehicles in conjunction with the FIU vehicle services department, assisting the Chief of Staff in organizing the Dean’s transportation to local meetings and events, and maintaining a log of the office’s expenses. He also works on special projects, including assisting in the college’s breast cancer research study and planning Dean’s Office events. Previously, Mr. Blassingame worked as Events Assistant for the Orange Bowl Committee, where he helped plan the 2010 FedEx Orange Bowl and oversaw the operations for the Orange Bowl Basketball Classic. A graduate of the University of Virginia, Mr. Blassingame holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and took graduate courses in education at the UVA Curry School of Education. He is currently pursuing an MBA at FIU’s Chapman Graduate School of Business Administration.
