- Biography
Dr. Hodgson joins the College of Medicine from Baylor College of Medicine where he completed his postdoctoral training in the department of Molecular and Cellular Biology. He earned his PhD at Curtin University of Technology in Australia and received postdoctoral training at Harvard University and Baylor College of Medicine. A cancer and molecular biologist, he has worked on understanding the association of steroid receptors and coregulators in female reproductive biology and the development and progression of prostate cancer. His current research focuses on the transition of prostate cancer to a hormone refractory state and on the involvement of the androgen receptor and cell signaling pathways in the development of this aggressive disease state.
