Administrative Offices
The Office of Academic Affairs has broad responsibilities. Its overarching mission is to serve the faculty. One directive is to provide infrastructure and processes by which the faculty define educational objectives for medical students.
Office of Clinical AffairsThis office is primarily responsible for the clinical experience that medical students obtain on the way to their medical doctor (M.D.) degree. This includes the recruitment of the heads of the various clinical departments as well as the recruitment of faculty within the departments
Office of Finance and AdministrationThe Office of Administration and Finance oversees the budget, supervises human resources, ensures the availability and maintenance of appropriate facilities and sees that resources are spent appropriately and effectively to manage the college.
Office of Medical EducationThe Office of Medical Education is to educate and train medical students through innovative curricula designed to advance a passion for scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and comprehensive clinical expertise that leads to a highly qualified, competent, and broad-based physician.
Office of Student AffairsThis office strives to recruit, admit, educate, counsel, advise, and professionally transform a diverse group of students into culturally competent, empathic, and ethical physicians.
Office of Medical Development and Alumni Affairs
The Office of Medical Development, Alumni Relations & Marketing is responsible for handling all philanthropic opportunities, alumni relations and marketing for the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine.
Office of Marketing and Public Relations
The Office of Marketing and Public Relations handles all media requests, marketing, and public relations for the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine.
